Rainy Day Options—Indoor Fun in Tomahawk, WI

 Although Tomahawk is the land of blue skies, crystal clear water and lush green pines, from time to time it does rain. Here’s a sample of a weekend of indoor fun in Tomahawk: 

Day One:

9am— Breakfast at one of Tomahawk’s great restaurants.

10am—Learn about the storied past of Tomahawk and the Northwoods at Tomahawk's First School Museum and Log Cabin Museum. These great museums give visitors a look into the regions culture through fun exhibits, pictures and displays.

Noon—Grab a great lunch in Tomahawk.

1pm—Spend the afternoon shopping in charming Tomahawk. Enjoy the small town atmosphere and unique stores.

5pm—Enjoy dinner at one of Tomahawk’s excellent supper clubs.

7pm—Head to Tomahawk Bowl for some fun on the lanes.

 

Day 2:

9:30am—Get up late and then enjoy breakfast at your favorite Tomahawk restaurant.

 

11am—Head to Rodeway Inn & Suites, Super 8 or Waters of Minocqua for open swim! 

 

1:30pm—Time for lunch.

 

2:30pm—Head to Tomahawk Bowl for some fun on the lanes.

 

5pm—Just a short drive east of Tomahawk is Wisconsin River Cruises. The boat is fully enclosed, so rain or shine, you’ll be able to enjoy dinner and a 1 ¾ hour sight-seeing tour in comfort.
