Snowmobile Trail Reports
The Tomahawk area has over 400 miles of trails.
These trails are maintained by the Knight Owls Snowmobile Club, Northern Trails Unlimited Snowmobile Club and Northwoods Passage Snowmobile Club.
This report is dated Friday, January 19,2018.
All Lincoln County snowmobile trails in Zone I are OPEN. The trails are being reported in FAIR-GOOD condition.
All trails in Zone 2 and Zone 3 remain CLOSED in Lincoln County.
Please be aware of trail closed signs, stay on marked trails ONLY and respect private land. Use extreme caution and expect early season riding conditions throughout the trail system.
Trails designated as winter ATV trails in these areas will open for ATV use at noon on January 4,2018. All trails are closed for ATV use when the temperature is above 28 degrees F.

Oneida County Funded Snowmobile Trail System (as administered by the Oneida County Forestry, Land, & Recreation Department)
are OPEN for the 2017-2018 winter season. The trails are in FAIR-GOOD condition.
As always, the Oneida County Forestry, Land, & Recreation Department recommends staying on clearly marked trails. Always exercise caution when riding a snowmobile. The trails can be in rough, early season condition. Snowmobilers are urged to stay on marked trails.
