Wa Wui Ltd\, a Wisconsin non profit corporation hosts Wiscon sin licensed bingo events at SARA Park. 2012 bingo dates begin March 7 an d every Wednesday between May 2 and September 5. All are welcome to play\ , including supervised minors. Doors open at 5:30 P.M.\, first game is at 7 P.M.. 15 games are played each evening plus a progressive blackout ses sion. Prize money between $550 and $1\,000\, plus the progressive jackpot is won at each session. Rip tickets and lite refreshments are available. All bingo proceeds go to the operation and expansion of SARA Park.

On\nWednesday\, May 22 at 6:30 p.m. t he Tomahawk Public Library will host Jim Honig\,\nHistory and Political Sc ience instructor at Nicolet College. He will provide a glim pse into the wonderful\nworld of Critical Thinking. In this \npresentation and discussion\, the audience will learn why Critical Think ing\nbegins with “thinking about your thinking with the purpose of impro ving it.”

Jim\nHonig has been teaching at the community college level for nearly thirty years\,\nand has been teaching at Nicolet College for the past twen ty-one years. He incorporates “critical thinking” as an \neducational tool to help students focus on how they think about a\nsubject. He has been studying and\ndeveloping this appr oach for nearly eighteen years. As Honig has said\, “Over the years\, I have come to appreciate\nthe importance of C ritical Thinking as an approach to\ndeve lop the quality of one’s own thoughts about anything.”

This\npresentation is for everybody.
